The Alberta Pond Hockey Video!

Here it is folks – the inaugural Y&F Road Trip video!

Even though we came across some 'technical difficulties', the video still reflects the awesome energy Jere and I experienced firsthand at the Pond Hockey Tournament last week.

For everyone we chatted with – thank you for sharing your time with us, we had such a blast! And of course, congratulations are in order for Mullen Oilfield, the 2008 champions!

Wahoo!! Looks like fun. It sounds like fun too, despite the lack of sound. Don Cherry is quite the character, don't you think.

After I saw the vast advantages and pump-up rock music that comes from submitting an event to the calendar I racked my brain to think of one but sadly came up with nothing. Unless you like French plays...

Probably not.

Anyway, one day I will think of something exciting and it will be grand.

Little disappointed about the audio.

Great job otherwise!

Here' a good story. The Mayor of Grimshaw, in the video, broke his ankle playing a game against our team in the tourney last year. I watched it happen in front of me and it looked hella painful. He had surgery in GP the next day and ended up getting a plate and seven screws in his leg. But, he battled through rehab and played again this year. I thought that showed a lot of guts and determination on his part and he should get a little recognition for that.
