Christa Janzen wants to be the Young & Free Spokesperson!
19-year-old Christa Janzen from Slave Lake has just thrown her hat into the ring to be the Young & Free Spokesperson.
Here is Christa's blog post:
"Always having a positive attitude is something that is very important to me. Growing up my dad would say 'Christa: there are two ways to look at things; a positive way and a negative way.'
"Choosing to focus on positive things is imperative because it allows me to live a happier and healthier life. My family and friends are also a significant part of my life. My family is always there to support me and encourage me no matter what, and my friends are always there to put a smile on my face."
Here is Christa's video application:
This is Christa's current situation:
"I am attending school and working part time. Currently I am working part time in Slave Lake as a bank teller. My job is so exciting! Everyday I come into contact with new and interesting individuals. I am also taking a bachelor of child and youth care via distance learning from Grant MacEwan. Right now I am learning about cognitive development in children. I am also studying basic psychology and how to best help troubled children."
That's three! Remember to get your application in by November 9.
