Big question: budgeting staycation

Last week's poll had us somewhat questioning our morals and the answers are in!

  • Nearly half (47%) of you said that you would simply pick up the coin.
  • 29% said that 25 cents would be a waste of your time; you are too good for the Quarter.
  • 18% would keep walking by, while 6% would fake a sickness to pull a prank and watch a person struggle.

Thankfully, none of you answered that you don’t walk outside. So not many people who reside in plastic bubbles decided to vote this week, or they don’t read my blog.

Alrighty then friends, it’s time for the weeks Big Question.

With all of this talk of Staycation’s and such things, I would like to know which one of a number of things you might consider doing on your Staycation.

Maybe you’ll catch up on a ton of sleep? Before you grew up and got a job, what did you do? Ride your bike? Go on long walks?

Just keep budgeting in mind when Staycationing at home. It can cost you about $2000 to have a super luxurious vacation, so maybe reduce that to about $200 and spend it on tickets for venues, or hobby supplies.

There is truly no limit to what you can do on your Staycation. Plus if you do decide to have a Staycation, you don’t run the risk of falling asleep on a beach and then waking to find yourself sunburned to a nice strawberry hue.

Not that I would know from experience...

Vote on some staycation options!

Extra Tidbit: Hope you all had fun and safe St. Patrick's Day's!
