Beef Tweet High Wonk

Before you interpret the title of this post as a confirmation that I've completely lost my marbles, allow me to explain: Beef Tweet High Wonk is an anagram for Webthing of the Week – which is fitting, because today's Webthing of the Week is an Anagram Generator.

Provided by Wordsmith.org, the Anagram Generator takes your name (or whatever else you care to enter into the field) and spits out a list of anagrams.

Follow these tips for a more effective search:

  • To ensure you're getting all the results, set the Display maximum this many anagrams field to "All".
  • Set a value for the Minimum number of letters in each word. This helped me narrow down some of my searches by elimination bizarre two-letter words like "en" and "ye". I usually start out by entering a 3-letter minimum. See how it goes from there.
  • Change it up. If you're looking for anagrams of your name, try a search including your middle name or middle initial and see if it brings in some different results.
  • Letters like Q, Z, and X really limit your search results. If possible, try not to include them (tough luck Quentins, Zacks, and Xaviers of the world!)

And if you generate any particularly hilarious anagrams, don't keep them to yourselves – post them as a comment below!

Have a great weekend!

Larissa

(my top anagram was unsuitable for publishing on the Y&F site, but I'll let you try it out)
